FT Interactive Data adds FTSE European Sector
Indices
FT Interactive Data is pleased to announce the addition to
its databases of the new FTSE European Sector Index Series.
The FTSE European Sector Index Series provides investors with
exposure to the most liquid industry sectors in Europe. The
indices are designed to measure the performance of the largest
pan-European blue chip companies within their sectors and
are suitable as the basis for investment products, such as
derivatives and exchange-traded funds.
The new index series covers eight of the most traded sectors:
FTSE European Banks, FTSE European Consumer Cyclicals, FTSE
European Consumer Non-Cyclicals, FTSE European Media, FTSE
European Oil & Gas, FTSE European Pharmaceuticals &
Bio-Technology, FTSE European Technology and FTSE European
Utilities.
The data is available via FT Interactive Data’s products
at end of day. Data fields available include: open price,
close price, day high and day low.
