Estonian Securities to Trade on Helsinki Trading System - 25/2/2002


The Tallinn Stock Exchange have announced that with effect from 25th February 2002, all Estonian securities will be traded on the Helsinki Stock Exchange HEX system. From this date, the Euro will replace the Estonia Kroon as the trading currency for these securities. The notification also states that the trading codes for the affected securities will change on this date.


These changes will have the following effects on the data provided in EXSHARE® and FTS Services from 25th February 2002:

  • Prices will be reported in Euro.
  • The new trading codes will replace those currently held in field AS18 - Local Code A. A list of the new codes is available on request from Customer Support.
  • 26 securities will be affected.
