European Monetary Union Data - 1st January
2002
The following two spreadsheets detail the securities affected
by the next stage of the European Monetary Union (EMU) process.
Data changes are to be applied to our databases on 1st January
2002, will be available in special services on that day and
will appear in normally scheduled services from 2nd January
2002.
It should be noted that these spreadsheets represent the situation
on 21st December 2001 and are provided to indicate the changes
likely to be made on 1st January 2002. Formal redenominations
are being announced daily and it is likely therefore that
these lists will change between now and then.
Formal_Redenomination_Events
This file lists the securities in our database which are to
undergo formal redenomination events.
Read_As_Euro_from_01012002
This file lists the securities in our database which are not
undergoing formal redenomination events but which should be
'Read-as-Euro' from 1st January 2002,
in accordance with the European Commission directive
laid down in Article 14 of Council Regulation 974/98.
Any customer requiring further clarification of the content
and implications of the data changes relating to EMU, should
