FT Interactive Data adds STOXX™
Indices & Russell® 3000 Indices to its Specialist

Launch of services for Dow Jones STOXX™ indices
FT Interactive Data has recently added the Dow Jones
STOXX index to its range of specialist index services. Index
services will include the Total Market Indices (comprising
around 1,100 constituent stocks) and the sub-indices from
the Eurozone and beyond. Also included are the STOXX 600,
the STOXX NORDIC 30 and the Blue-Chip cap-weighted indices.
Since its launch in February 1998 the Dow Jones STOXX index
series has developed into a leading regional equity family.
The indices provide comprehensive coverage of the European
markets and allow analysis of the region, by size, style and
notably by industry.
Launch of services for Russell 3000® indices
FT Interactive Data has also added the Russell 3000
to its range of index services. The Russell 3000, sourced
from Frank Russell Company, is the most widely used US equity
broad benchmark. Covering the top 3000 US companies ranked
by market capitalisation it complements the existing S&P 500
services. As well as the primary 21 indices calculated daily
by Frank Russell Company, FT Interactive Data will
also be calculating daily price and total return indices for
all the economic sector and industry group indices for each
of the 21 indices. Full daily constituent details including
stock price and total returns are also offered. The Russell
3000 indices proved an interesting challenge as we have to
derive the stock dividends and corporate actions to be able
to accurately calculate the daily industry indices.
