Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data collects, validates, maintains and delivers prices and pricing-related data on listed securities from more than 120 major and emerging markets and exchanges across the globe - from Andorra to Zimbabwe. Data items typically include information such as bid and offer, last trade, open and close, high and low and volume data. Whether real-time, intra-day, or end-of-day, data is available when you need it.
Quality and Coverage
In addition to employing highly trained data experts with superior market knowledge and awareness, we enhance the quality of pricing data by:
 |
|
Administering specific validating processes - such as monitoring benchmark index constituents. |
 |
|
Undertaking extensive research into future IPOs to facilitate pricing availability on the first day of issue. |
End-of-day Data
We provide end-of-day pricing and related
data from more than 120 major and emerging markets and exchanges
worldwide. End-of-day pricing is available as markets close
throughout the world, allowing mutual funds additional time
to consider that information when they prepare their daily
portfolio valuations.
In the U.S., a special mutual fund product group focuses on
timely delivery of global pricing information to mutual funds
and their service providers. Our data services provide tools
and data designed to assist them in meeting their daily obligations.
Intra-day Data
We offer intra-day pricing data from 50
equity markets covering Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific,
the Middle East and Africa. Data provided typically includes
bid, ask, last trade and volume attributes. This service has
been designed to assist clients who perform intra-day portfolio
fund valuations and is directed toward the investment fund
industry, particularly unit trust and fund administration
companies, as well as software houses and global asset management
companies. The service is available at half-hourly snapshots
throughout the day, from 05:00 GMT to 23:00 GMT and 00:00
ET to 18:30 ET. Data is provided on either a delayed or non-delayed
basis with full client services support from Interactive
Data.
iBoxx Constituent Pricing
We provide iBoxx constituent prices - both intra-day and end-of-day. Real-time index levels and bid and ask prices are offered for a wide range of investment grade securities in EUR and GBP denominated bonds.
Seven leading investment banks - ABN Amro, Barclays Capital,
BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein,
Morgan Stanley, and UBS - contribute their prices every minute
throughout the trading day to Deutsche Börse. Deutsche
Börse then subjects each price to a series of elaborate
quality control checks and consolidates those prices that
pass the tests into an iBoxx price.
We receive the iBoxx prices and index levels in real-time and distribute them intra-day and end-of-day to assist clients in producing their valuations.
