As Sr. Vice President and Treasurer of Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data, Bill Grieve is directly responsible for all U.S. and European financial operations. He has held this post since 1996, following the creation of FT Interactive Data through the Financial Times Group's acquisition of Dun & Bradstreet's Interactive Data division. Mr. Grieve oversaw the successful integration of the two companies, and was subsequently responsible for all financial reporting to its parent company, Interactive Data Corporation.
During his tenure as Sr. Vice President and Treasurer of Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data, Mr. Grieve has also presided over the successful acquisition and integration of Thomson Corporation's Muller Data, Merrill Lynch's Securities Pricing Service and S&P’s ComStock. He most recently worked on the acquisition of IS Teledata AG, which was completed in December 2005.
Prior to the establishment of Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data, Mr. Grieve held the position of Controller at Extel Financial - also a Financial Times Group company - where he oversaw three other high profile Financial Times Group acquisitions and integrations. He has also worked as a consolidation accountant and senior financial analyst.
Mr. Grieve earned a BA (Honors) in European Business from the Buckinghamshire Business School, UK and is a member of the UK-based Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. |
